Coronavirus: BJP to distribute preventive medicine
The Doctors’ Cell of the BJP Telangana has announced the distribution of free homeo medicine for two weeks to the people at State party headquarters in Nampally.
Hyderabad: The Doctors' Cell of the BJP Telangana has announced the distribution of free homeo medicine for two weeks to the people at State party headquarters in Nampally.
Addressing the media after launching the free medicine distribution, State BJP president Dr K Laxman appreciated the initiative of the doctors' cell of the party to distribute free homeo medicine for people to keep their immunity levels.
The free medicine distribution is available evening till 8 pm, even on Sundays and holidays. The decisions have been taken following the fears expressed against the backdrop of the spread of coronavirus.
Laxman charged the corruption-ridden State Medical and Health department has been sleeping over the issues as the State government failed to take proactive steps to put in place the necessary mechanism to deal with the situation.
He said that the State government is on a denial mode and harassing a doctor, who had claimed to identify two cases which were tested positive to the coronavirus in the State.
He said neither Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao nor the Health Minister Eatala Rajender has conducted a review of the situation and gave direction to handle the serious issues like coronavirus.
Adding, people are going to Gandhi and other hospitals for the cough and running nose get tested with apprehensions of being affected
by the virus.
The State government should ensure that the Medical and Health department takes a proactive role to clear the apprehensions conducting proper tests to the people visiting the hospitals.
