Coronavirus patient flees from hospital in Hyderabad, caught on his way to home

A man infected with coronavirus has escaped from King Koti hospital in Hyderabad on Wednesday morning and was caught after a few hours while he was on his way to home in Thorrur.

Getting into details, the man who was working in an old-age home has tested positive for coronavirus and admitted to King Koti hospital on June 15. On Wednesday morning, the patient went missing from the hospital. It is learned that the man escaped from the hospital and went to LB Nagar where he boarded a bus to Suryapet. He got into another bus to Thorrur and called up his brother to inform that he was coming home.

The patient's brother soon alerted the police and healthcare officials who stopped the bus and shifted the patient to MGM hospital in Warangal.

Meanwhile, the officials are identifying the persons with whom the patient has come in contact while on his way to Thorrur.
