Coronavirus : As on 25 June, Telangana reported 920 new Coronavirus cases. Total Coronavirus cases in Telangana now stands at 11364.

Telangana: Yesterday, India witnessed another inexorable rise in Covid-19 cases with almost 17,000 new cases, taking the national Covid-19 tally to 473,105. While 271,696 patients have recovered from the dangerous contagion across India, the death toll has soared to 14,894.

Telangana Coronavirus Cases Stands at 11364. As on 25 June, Telangana reported 920 new Coronavirus cases. Total Coronavirus cases in Telangana now stands at 11364. As on date, there are 6446 active cases out of which a total of 327 patients recovered, and five deaths are reported today. The death toll in Telangana stands at 230.

Telangana Cured Cases and Death Rate

Death rate stands at 2.02% when compared to the national average of 3.12%. As 327 cases got cured in the state on Thursday, the recovered cases increase to 4688. Meanwhile, the recovery rate stands at 41.25%. While the death tally is now at 230 as five fatalities were noted on 25 June. In the last week, the number of new infections has increased by an average of 11% every day.

Telangana District Wise Report

Yesterday, on 25 June, 737 cases were reported, now Hyderabad has more than 8333 COVID-19 positive cases. It is the worst affected in Telangana with the tally almost nearing 9000 mark. Ranga Reddy and Medchal Malkajgiri Districts confirmed 813 and 415 total Coronavirus positive cases, whereas 250 positive COVID-19 infections are from other states. Nayaranpet is the least affected district with only three COVID-19 cases.

COVID-19 Tests in Telangana

Till 25 June Telangana conducted 70934 tests. Total tests executed in Telangana increased to 1906 per million. Despite the increase in testing, it remains one of the least testing states in India.

Telangana is determined to increase the tests in the state

Since the pandemic, Telangana reported low testing rate; however, due to rising coronavirus risk, it has increased COVID-19 tests. Till last week, it conducted a total of 45911 tests. However, on Wednesday, it increased the testing number to 4069 samples per day. At this time, it is trying to improve the tests up to 10000 per day. In this view, it is getting new COBAS 8800 machine for active testing.
