Hyderabad: As many as 26 passengers from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad have been admitted to the various government hospitals in the city on the suspicion of being infected by the coronavirus on Friday.

Meanwhile, the health authorities also asked 117 passengers to self-quarantine for 14 days. Ever since the outbreak of coronavirus, the officials have collected the samples of 339 patients out of which 304 tested negative and one tested positive and the reports of the remaining persons are awaited.

The patient who tested positive for the virus underwent treatment at Gandhi Hospital and has recovered. He will be discharged soon from the hospital, said hospital authorities earlier this week.

On Thursday, three persons who returned from Italy admitted to the hospital after showing the symptoms of COVID-19.
