After two coronavirus positive cases reported in Telangana, the government has taken precautionary measures to control the spread of the virus and asked the government hospitals to set up isolation wards.

However, the isolation ward at Karimnagar government hospital was seen locked up on Saturday. On the advisory from the Telangana government, the Karimnagar government hospital has set up a nine-bed hospital but later locked it up.

It is learned that no staff has also been deployed for the isolation ward in Karimnagar. The patients with suspected symptoms of the virus are turning down after the isolation ward was closed.

The people urged the government to open the isolation ward and accord the treatment for the patients who are visiting the hospital with the suspected symptoms of coronavirus.
