Covid-19 positive cases count jumps to 13 in Telangana; 8 cases confirmed on Wednesday alone
In a major development, 8 positive cases were confirmed in Telangana taking the total count to 13 on Wednesday. While the sixth positive case was confirmed in the afternoon, the health department released a special bulletin late night stating that seven more samples tested positive to the virus.

All of them are Indonesians who were shifted from Karimnagar to Gandhi hospital on Tuesday. While one member tested positive, 10 others were kept under observation and their samples tested positive. Karimnagar district administration has decided to screen every person living in 3 km radius of district collectorate as the 11 member Indonesian group was learnt to have spent two days moving in that area. Around 100 teams have been formed to do this job and district authorities have appealed authorities to stay put at home.
