Two villages in Hyderabad have closed the entry of outsiders into the village as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The two villages -- one in Shamshabad and one in Abdullahpurmet put the barricades made of sticks restricting the outsiders' entry. The villagers said that they do not want others to visit their village in the view of the COVID-19 outbreak until the situation comes under control.

On the other hand, the state is under complete lockdown with the people staying at home co-operating with the government. However, the police are seizing the vehicles of people who enter on roads without any proper reason. The lockdown will continue till March 31, 2020.

So far, around 36 COVID-19 positive cases have been reported today including three new cases found today.
