Cyberabad Traffic Police issues advisory to citizens
In view of heavy traffic snarls being witnessed in Madhapur and Hi-tech city areas during rains
Hyderabad : In view of heavy traffic snarls being witnessed in Madhapur and Hi-tech city areas during rains, the Cyberabad Traffic police issued an advisory to the citizens on Sunday on the major waterlogging locations, and alternate routes to be followed to stay away from the heavy traffic jams.
They announced the major waterlogging locations near Nectar Gardens on the road connecting Madhapur to Road No 45, near City Wines, Ayyappa Society, Madhapur.
The road connecting Cyber Towers junction to Neeru's and Kavuri Hills junction and vice versa, near Shilparamam on the road between Hitex and Metal Charminar and Cyber Towers junction and near Raheja Mindspace campus entrance at Underpass on the road between Cyber Gateway and Mindspace.
Police said traffic snarls were occurring as the recession of storm water at the above places is taking its time and consequently the traffic geting piled up on the roads.
Approximately, half-an-hour of waterlogging at Shilparamam would lead to congestion at Kothaguda, Botanical Gardens, Gachibowli for almost 2-3 hours. It would take 2-3 hours of hard work by traffic police in regulating and normalising the traffic.
Since the areas are connecting airport, ORR, hospitals it is suggested that during rainy season, it is better to avoid the Durgam Cheruvu - Road No 45 route from Hi-tech city and suggested to take the alternative routes at Hitech city - Cyber Towers - 100 ft road - Kavuri Hills junction / Neerus- Road no 36 and Hi-tech city - Bio diversity - Khajaguda - Dargah - Film Nagar - Banjara Hills.
Further it is better to avoid Gachibowli / financial district- Kothaguda - Hitex - Cyber Towers- Kavuri Hills/Neerus - Jubilee Hills and suggested to take alternative routes at Gachibowli-Bio diversity- Khajaguda-Dargah-Film Nagar - Banjara Hills.
The commuters should avoid Gachibowli / financial district- Kothaguda - Hitex- JNTU / Kukatpally and suggested to take alternative routes at Gachibowli - Kothaguda - Kondapur - Hafeezpet - Allwyn junction - Miyapur junction - Kukatpally/ JNTU.
They also requested to avoid Hi-tech city- Cyber Towers- Malaysian township – JNTU and suggested to take alternative routes at Hi-tech city - Kothaguda - Kondapur - Hafeezpet - Allwyn - Miyapur - Kukatpally/ JNTU.
Traffic police urged the citizens to follow the directions and not to go in opposite directions.
