Vikarabad: Additional District Judge Muralimohan said the Legal Services Authority is extending services to the people so that they would not lose time and money for petty issues.

He was participating as the chief guest for the programme organised on account of National Legal Services Day at Vishwa Bharathi Degree College here on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said denying the legal services to the poor, suppressed, children and old was a crime. He also said that it was everyone's responsibility to create legal awareness among them. The judge explained various provisions to avail of legal services and also about the Lok Adalat.

Vikarabad Bar Association president Narayana, secretary Mohammad Rafi, AO Narayana, advocates T Venkatesh, Rajasekhar, Narsimhulu, Dr Bhaktavatsalam, Dr Satyanarayana Goud, representative of Bharosa Niroahs, organisers of Sakhi centre, staff of court, students and teachers of the college and others were present.
