Depressed over girlfriend's suicide, man jumps off building in Hyderabad

Unable to take his girlfriend's suicide, a man ended his life by jumping off a building on Wednesday here at Fatehnagar under Sanathnagar police station limits.

Ramesh, a resident of Jagaddhgirigutta was in a relationship with Harshitha who stays at Fatehnagar. He befriended her during his regular visit to his uncle's house in the same area.

However, the girl's parents learned their affair and opposed it. Depressed over it, Harshitha committed suicide by hanging herself to ceiling in her room. On learning the death news of girlfriend, Ramesh jumped from a building and succumbed to injuries.

The police registered a case and launched an investigation.
