Drunk man ends life in Patancheru

A man in an intoxicated state committed suicide here at Chitkul village of Patancheru mandal on Wednesday night. The incident came to light on Thursday morning when the family members found him hanging from the ceiling.

According to the police, Satyanarayana (33) returned home in the drunk state at 9.30 pm on Wednesday and had a quarrel with his wife over his addiction to alcohol.

While everyone was asleep, Satyanarayana woke up at 11.30 pm and committed suicide. The family members shifted him to a hospital where he was declared brought dead. The Patancheru police registered a case and are investigating.
