East Zone police held a meeting to stop frequent tension in Amberpet

The East Zone DCP M Ramesh on Tuesday held a meeting with local Muslim community members of Amberpet over the demolition of religious structure in the area which is leading to frequent tension locally. Police requested the local public not to indulge in any unlawful activities with the sake of others vested interests.

Earlier a five-member committee comprised Police, Revenue and Minority Welfare Departments was formed by the Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali to probe the issue of demolition of the religious structure and submit a report. Several leaders of muslim organizations participated in the meeting.
