Kothagudem: The TRS government would soon address podu lands issue, said Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao.
Addressing the TRS party workers of Bhadrachalam Assembly constituency on Wednesday, the Minister said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was aware of the podu land issues in the agency villages.
"The Chief Minister is in favour of podu farmers and soon after the Parliament elections are over, he will take steps to address the issue. Hence, no podu farmer have to worry about their lands," he assured.
Efforts were already started and soon the issue would be sorted out, the Minister said, adding that the Chief Minister has given instructions to forest officials to not to trouble farmers cultivating podu lands and also promised to issue pattas to podu farmers.
He said the party workers towards the party candidate's victory in the upcoming LS polls. He noted that winning 16 MP seats would help to protect the interests of Telangana and its people and hence, every party worker has to work towards the TRS candidates win the elections.
Former Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, MLCs Satyavathi Rathod, Balasani Laxminarayana, speaking in the meeting, appealed to the voters to support party's Mahabubabad candidate Maloth Kavitha in the elections.
TRS party in-charge Dr T Venkat Rao, party leaders T Siddhulu, Nagesh, M Rama Krishna and others attended the meeting.
