Grand Telangana Day celebrations planned

Vikarabad: District Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam directed the officials to organise state formation day celebration on a grand note. She held a meeting with officials here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, she said ZP chairperson Sunitha Mahender Reddy will be the chief guest for the celebrations. All the officials should attend the police parade, she said. students are exempted from attending the parade due to heat wave, even distribution of assets to the beneficiaries is also suspended, she said.

She told the officials to illuminate all the government buildings in the limits of municipality, major panchayats. She suggested that blood donation camps be organised at government hospital in Vikarabad and fruits also be distributed to the patients. Joint Collector Arunakumari, Additional SP Bhaskar, DRO Mothilal, DRDO Johnson, RDO Vishwanadham and district officials were present.
