In a bid to bring environmental awareness among the masses, the TRSV, a student wing of TRS party, took out a rally in the city with a slogan – Go Green Say No To Plastics – on Friday.
Hanamkonda (Warangal-U): In a bid to bring environmental awareness among the masses, the TRSV, a student wing of TRS party, took out a rally in the city with a slogan – Go Green Say No To Plastics – on Friday. Warangal urban district Grandhalaya Samstha president Md Azeez Khan who flagged off the rally at Markaji High School heaped praise on TRSV for organising programmes for the societal good.
"It's high time to reduce the impact of plastics on the environment by raising awareness among the people. Plastic pollution is one of the most threatening environmental problems the world is facing. Plastics take hundreds of years to disappear as it was not made of a biodegradable material. Use of single-use plastic is a massive challenge," Khan said. Further, he appealed to people to avoid the use of single-use plastic.
