Health Minister Eatala Rajender along with Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Zilla Parishad Chairperson Kanumalla Vijaya inaugurated the 30-bed hospital constructed at the cost of Rs 5 crore at Jammikunta town in Karimnagar district on Saturday.

Karimnagar: Health Minister Eatala Rajender along with Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Zilla Parishad Chairperson Kanumalla Vijaya inaugurated the 30-bed hospital constructed at the cost of Rs 5 crore at Jammikunta town in Karimnagar district on Saturday.

Addressing the gathering, Health Minister Eatela Rajender said after formation of Telangana State the hospital which was in bad shape were renovated at the cost of Rs30 crore in Huzuarabad constituency.

The government is investing thousands of crores for providing health to the people living across the State. It is the responsibility of any government which is in power to provide education and health to the poor people.

The TRS government is first in providing all the basic facilities to the people and it has become model for other States, he added. Doctor profession is one of the sacred professions and doctors are treated like gods by the poor patients. If doctors in Jammikunta hospital will increase the number of patients, then the 30-bed hospital will be upgraded to 100 beds, assured the Health Minister.

MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar said, "it is our responsibility to provide education and health to the poor people. We will strive hard for modernising the 30-bed hospital in the coming days. "Some of the doctors are trying to do business with health which must not be encouraged.

Awareness must be created among the poor people to utilise the services that are provided in the government hospitals free of cost and avoid visiting private hospitals," he appealed to the people.
