Heavy rains lash Hyderabad, to continue for next 24 hours

In a relief to people from the scorching heat, heavy rain lashed Hyderabad late on Friday inundating the low lying areas. However, the GHMC team was pressed into the service to clear the waterlogged area.

Meanwhile, drizzling continued on Saturday morning which ensued to the power outage in several parts in the city.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the monsoon will touch Kerala in 12 hours and reach to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on June 11 and 12 respectively.

The IMD also predicted light to moderate rains in many parts of Telangana in the next 24 hours.
