Hike in property tax opposed by BJP leaders

Nagaram: BJP leaders and activists staged relay hunger strike here protesting against 300 per cent increase in tax.

They questioned the government as why it was collecting such a huge amount towards tax after the municipality came into existence. They threatened to continue the strike if the tax was not lowered.
