Hold revenue meets to address land issues: District Collector Pausumi Basu

Vikarabad: District Collector Pausumi Basu instructed Tahasildars to conduct revenue meetings and resolve land issues, after the ongoing Pattana Pragathi programme. She was holding a review meeting on 'Kalyanalakshmi' and 'Shadi Mubarak' with divisional revenue officers and tahasildars here on Wednesday.

She took stock of the status of works, resolved issues, mutation and Virasat etc, which were discussed during earlier meeting. She said that if the issues of farmers were resolved at the village-level, they would not come to district headquarters for attending 'Prajavani.' She suggested that the officials focus on farmers' issues time to time.

"Meetings with revenue staff along with the officials of land and survey department should be held in all villages to address the issues related to land," she said. She also reviewed progress of Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak schemes. Additional Collector Mothilal, RDOs Upender Reddy, Venumadhav, AD, survey and land records, Ramreddy and other officials were present.
