Hospitals in Hyderabad lacking fire safety measures to be sealed

All the private and government hospitals in the city which are below 15 metres height will be check for fire safety measures by the end of August and those not following the safety norms will be sealed, said K Vishwajit, director of enforcement for GHMC vigilance and disaster management wing.

"Notices were already sent to Gandhi Hospital and Osmania General Hospital to take proper fire safety measures," said Vishwaji adding that an inspection will be made at hospitals and clinics and sealed if they are not following the norms.
