Huzurnagar Parishad results stun Congress, TRS

Huzurnagar (Suryapet): A different trend was witnessed in Parishad poll results in Huzurnagar Assembly constituency. Congress party bagged a majority of MPTC seats required for MPP posts in four out of seven mandals in the constituency, that is Huzurnagar, Nereducherla, Palakeedu and Mellacheruvu mandals. Whereas, TRS got majority MPTC seats to bag MPP posts in Garidepally mandal, Chintalapalem and Mattampally mandal.

Meanwhile, the results of ZPTC seats in Huzurnagar constituency were quite different from MPTC results. Out of seven mandals, TRS won Garidepally, Nereducherla, Mattampally, Chintalapalem and Huzurnagar ZPTC seats, whereas Congress won Mellacheruvu and Palakeedu ZPTC seats.

Congress leaders expressed their shock over the different results for MPTC and ZPTC seats. Meanwhile, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief and Nalgonda MP-elect Uttam Kumar Reddy congratulated the party ZPTC and MPTC winners at his residence in Huzurnagar.
