Hyderabad: 16 medical shops seized in GHMC limits

In wake of reports that medical shops in GHMC limits were selling safety masks at very high prices above the MRP, teams from Drug Control department conducted raids across the State on Saturday.
Hyderabad: In wake of reports that medical shops in GHMC limits were selling safety masks at very high prices above the MRP, teams from Drug Control department conducted raids across the State on Saturday.
Over 165 shops were checked out of which 16 were found to be fleecing customers. They were seized by the authorities. All of them are in GHMC limits only.
According to drug control authorities, these raids will continue for some more days.
Meanwhile, an advisory was issued by the wing to all pharmacy shops to not to sell safety masks and other products overpriced causing burden on the people of the state.
