Hyderabad: Nine persons with coronavirus symptoms were admitted in Gandhi and Fever Hospitals on Wednesday.

Of them, three were sent directly from RGIA, Shamshabad by the airport health officials after performing thermal screenings. The samples of all the nine persons have been sent to the Gandhi Hospital lab and results are awaited. Four samples that were sent on Tuesday turned out negative. Until now Telangana health authorities took 25 samples of people who had symptoms and travel history to China and all of them turned out negative.

For the first time after Gandhi Hospital had been declared as the nodal centre for treatment of coronavirus, five people got admitted in the isolation ward of the hospital on Wednesday.

Until now four people with travel history to China were admitted in Gandhi and all of them tested negative to the deadly virus.

A 24-year-old woman from Shapur Nagar came along with her sister, almost same age, and both had fever and cold problems. They were admitted in isolation ward in view of related symptoms to nCoV. A 20-year old woman from Bollarum who came from Cochin and a 28-year-old male from Khammam who returned from Shanghai recently and a 60-year old male from Moula Ali Housing Board Colony who recently returned from Vietnam have also been admitted in Gandhi isolation ward for related symptoms.
