Hyderabad: Abhaya Foundation celebrates Women's Day in AS Rao Nagar

AS Rao Nagar: Abhaya Foundation celebrated International Women's Day on a grand note at Anupuram Community Hall on Friday.

Medchal Additional District Collector Vidya Sagar was the chief guest. He along with the founder Usha Rani lit the lamp and launched the celebrations. Telangana State Most Backward Classes (MBC) Corporation chairman Taduri Srinivas, AS Rao Nagar Corporator Pavani Manipal Reddy, former corporator Kotha Rama Rao, Lead bank manager Anumula Narasimha Reddy were among those present.

Vidya Sagar said women were excelling in every field. He called upon everyone to strive for women empowerment. "Women have prominent place in Indian Culture," he said, calling upon women to inculcate self confidence.
