Hyderabad: Book on Communist Manifesto launched in Bagh Lingampally

Bagh Lingampally: A Telugu book "172 years of Communist Manifesto: Communist Party Pranalika" was launched here at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram on Friday. Telangana communist leader Kandimalla Pratap Reddy presided the programme. CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy, CPM state secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram, New Democracy leader Vemula Venkat Ramaiah, communist leaders Mohammad Ghouse, Sadineni Venkateshar Rao, revolutionary singer Vimalakka, singer Goranti Venkanna, political analyst Telakapalli Ravi and others participated in the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, various speakers spoke about the Communist Manifesto which was released 172 years ago and its impact on world history. Speakers also spoke about how communist leaders always fought for resolving public issues. Commemorating launch of Communist Manifesto, written by Karl Marx and Engels, the day has been declared as Red Books day, they said. They expressed hope that the political parties which follow communist principles would play a key role in fighting against communalism and corruption of Bourgeoisie political parties.
