Hyderabad: City photographer Merugu Chandrashekhar gets Honorary Grand Master Photographer award
Hong Kong Nature Photographic Society (HKNPSP) announced an award “Honorary Grand Master Photographer” to Hyderabad-based photographer Merugu Chandrashekhar recognising his excellent services in the field of art photography.
Hyderabad: Hong Kong Nature Photographic Society (HKNPSP) announced an award "Honorary Grand Master Photographer" to Hyderabad-based photographer Merugu Chandrashekhar recognising his excellent services in the field of art photography.
Chandrashekhar is known for his photographs depicting rural and tribal culture and their lifestyles using natural light. So far, Chandrashekhar received 186 national and 89 international awards.
Chadrashekhar established Sigma Photography Academy to give training in photography to rural youth. He has also conducted various free photography workshops, seminars and photo contests for the promotion of photography with the support from Language and Culture department of Telangana, Telangana Tourism department and Salarjung Museum.
