CM KCR to initiate tougher measures to regulate public movement in Hyderabad
Worried over increasing positive cases in Greater Hyderabad, some stringent measures, mainly regulating the public during their visits to business establishments and other public places, is likely to be taken in the high level meeting convened by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday.
Hyderabad: Worried over increasing positive cases in Greater Hyderabad, some stringent measures, mainly regulating the public during their visits to business establishments and other public places, is likely to be taken in the high level meeting convened by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday. It also would be the first day of opening of hotels, restaurants and religious places in the state. The CM will review the measures taken for the containment of the coronavirus, implementation of the lockdown and other related issues. Some important decisions will be taken accordingly.
The officials of State Medical and Health department were already asked to make a presentation on the fast spread of virus and the increase of the positive cases in Greater Hyderabad limits despite taking necessary preventive measures to check the pandemic. Police officials will also submit a report on the steps taken to control the people movements in the places where the lockdown rules were relaxed.
The CM will also review safety arrangements made at religious places, hotels and restaurants which will thrown open for public from Monday morning. Required guidelines to maintain safety measures in these three places were already issued.
