One has to hear about precautions each time one has to make a call

Hyderabad: Since this weekend, Jio, Airtel or Vodafone users before making a call are listening to the Coronavirus message the government has prepared where a message starts with a person coughing and then there is some info about how to avoid Coronavirus infection.

However, denizens didn't take the same in a very positive way as many said it was annoying to hear someone cough each time you call someone. "It might be useful information but for every call listening someone cough is a bit irritating," says G Sunil Kumar, a resident of Borabanda who works in an IT firm, and has to make many calls in a day.

"I would try and avoid calling anybody as long as the campaign goes on because I somehow don't want to end up feeling sick every time, I call someone," says Geetha Muntha a resident of Vanasthalipuram

"Repeating for every call is annoying, once in a day should be good enough for the first call of day to remind us of the precautions," says Hari Kishore a resident of Miyapur who is getting the caller tune for every call he dials.

"Our caller tunes now has changed from tring-tring to cough-cough followed by a message about Coronavirus. It's understandable but that doesn't make it any less annoying," says Shravan, a resident of Lingampalli
