Hyderabad: Explosion at Rajendranagar triggers panic

Explosion at Rajendranagar has sent shock waves among the residents here on Saturday morning near the Shivarampalli railway station.

Glass window panes of nearby houses were broken due to the frequency of the explosion and some of the residents ran out of their houses fearing the sudden blast. However, none of them is said to have injured in the mishap.

The officials rushed to the spot to know the cause of the fire. An investigation has been launched.

On September 9, 2019 - a ragpicker succumbed to injuries when he tried to open a container found on the footpath. The ragpicker, Khaja who initially suffered serious injuries was shifted to Osmania General Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
