Hyderabad: Headmaster, wife held for rape charges
A headmaster and his wife were arrested by the Rachakonda police on Saturday on the charges of the rape of a 15-year-old girl.

Kolaventi Prasad Rao (51) has sought sexual favours from a Class 8 girl in 2017 and with the help of his wife Saradi, she sexually exploited her repeatedly. Rao was the headmaster of George memorial residential private school at Batasingaram in Abdullpurmet.
The couple threatened the girl to turn as a maid if she revealed the matter.
However, the girl managed to escape from the school and went to her parents' home but was afraid of sharing her ordeal. After two years, the girl build up courage and shared the matter to her parents' who approached Abdullapurmet police on Friday.
The police who registered a case raided the school with the help of SHE teams and arrested the couple. The Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda advised the students to reach on 9490617111 or 100 if any complaints arise.
Balala Hakkula Sangam president Achyut Rao demanded to hang the headmaster for performing such a gruesome act.
