Hyderabad: KTR finanlises names for DCCB, DCMS Chairmen, Vice Chairmen
Municipal Administration Minister and TRS working president KT Rama Rao on Friday finalised and handed over the names of the DCCB and DCMS Chairmen and Vice Chairmen to the party’s general secretaries.
Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Minister and TRS working president KT Rama Rao on Friday finalised and handed over the names of the DCCB and DCMS Chairmen and Vice Chairmen to the party's general secretaries.
The TRS working president had a meeting of the general secretaries at Telangana Bhavan to finalise the names of Chairmen and Vice Chairmen for the post of DCCB (District Cooperative Central Bank) and DCMS (District Cooperative Marketing Society).
The elections to DCCB and DCMS Chairmen and Vice Chairmen are slated to be held on Saturday. KTR reviewed and finalised the names with the incharges of the election and handed over a sealed cover with the names of Chairmen and Vice Chairmen to the party leaders.
He asked them to make sure party-supported candidates win the elections and issued guidelines to be followed on Saturday. Since the names have been finalised by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the party leaders should take responsibility to make sure the election process is completed smoothly.
KTR asked the nine incharges appointed for overseeing the election to reach to their respective district immediately and coordinate for Saturday's programme.
"Coordinate with the Minister and MLAs from the district in the election process. Chairmen and Vice Chairmen are appointed as per the decision of the high command hence all should follow the decision of the party," said KTR.
The TRS working president said that the party has won majority of director posts in the election and expressed confidence that the party would be winning all the posts.
KTR congratulated the directors and said that these were also prestigious posts and added that the directors who could not get Chairmen/Vice Chairmen posts would be rewarded in future.
According to sources, the names of Boja Reddy and Raghunandan Reddy were doing rounds in Adilabad district. In Nizamabad district, Pocharam Bhaskar Reddy has been nominated for the post. He is the son of Speaker P Srinivas Reddy. Similarly for Medak district, M Devender Reddy is likely to be given the post. He is husband of Padma Devender Reddy.
In Nalgonda, two names are doing rounds including Palla Praveen Reddy and Sunkari Mallesh; in Warangal, Marneni Ravinder Rao is likely to be the Chairmen. On the other hand in Khammam, party leaders either T Brahmaiah or K Nagabhushanam be given the posts. in Mahabubnagar the names of R Gurunath Reddy and Vishnuvardhan Reddy, for Rangareddy Manohar Reddy's name has been finalised and for Karimnagar Kondeti Ravinder Rao is likely to be made the Chairman.
The general secretaries who would be overseeing the election process include M Sreenivas Reddy (incharge for Nizamabad), G Balamallu (Warangal), Damodar Gupta (Adilabad), MS Prabhakar (Rangareddy), S Subhash Reddy (Nalgonda), B Lingaiah Yadav (Medak), N Naresh Reddy (Khammam), Banda Prakash (Mahabubnagar) and Naradasu Lakshman (Karimnagar).
