Hyderabad: Lovers commit suicide after parents reject their marriage proposal

A young couple committed suicide late on Wednesday night after their parents rejected their marriage proposal. The incident occurred at Venkatapur village of Talakondapalli mandal in Rangareddy district.

Mallesh (19) and Shilpa (17) were in a relationship for the past two years. The parents of the duo learned about their affair and warned them to stay away from each other. They also turned down the marriage proposal of their deceased.

Depressed over it, the couple committed suicide by consuming poison. SI Suresh Yadav registered a case and launched an investigation.
