Hyderabad: Man posing as bank employee sexually assault woman

In an unforeseen incident, a woman was sexually assaulted by a man who approached her posing as a bank employee. The incident which took place under Punjagutta police station limits came to light on Wednesday.

According to the police, the woman (23), a native of Maharashtra was staying in Hyderabad along with her parents. On Tuesday evening, when her parents went to Maharashtra, two men went to her residence as bank employees.

While a person was guarding at the door, another man approached her on the guise of offering finance and sexually assaulted her. Based on the complaint of the woman, the police registered a case and sent the woman for medical examination.

SI Satish Kumar launched an investigation and is verifying the CCTV footage to nab the accused.
