Hyderabad: Prevention is best cure: IMA

Koti: The Telangana unit of Indian Medical Association (IMA) offered its support to the state government in their fight for prevention of Coronavirus in the state. This was announced at the association meeting held at their office on Wednesday. The meeting discussed on their role to help the state government in controlling the spread of the virus in the state.

Speaking on the occasion, president of the Telangana unit of IMA Dr Vijayendra Reddy and secretary Dr Sanjeev Singh Yadav welcomed the proactive measures taken by the state government to prevent the spread of the virus. They urged people to take proper preventive measures such as washing hands, applying sanitizers and wearing masks. Although no vaccines or medicines were found to cure the virus, the spread of the virus can be prevented by taking preventive measures, they said. They urged people to contact doctors if any symptoms of the virus or fever are observed.
