Hyderabad: Several youth, women join BJP in Malkajgiri

Malkajgiri: Led by Madhusudhan Mudhiraj, who contested as an independent in the last assembly elections for Malkajgiri constituency, about 500 youth and women joined BJP in the presence of MLC Ramachandra Rao at a programme here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that several people, especially youth and women were showing interest in joining the party attracted by the able governance of PM Narendra Modi. He said that the PM Modi had taken several initiatives to make the country strong. Congratulating those who joined the party, he said that the country was being taken on the path of development by Modi-Amit Shah duo.

A large number of women joining the party indicates the popularity of the party among women as the BJP government had taken several measures for the welfare of women, he said. He urged party cadre to ensure the success of the meeting in support of CAA to be held on March 15 attended by union home minister Amit Shaw. Among those who joined the party along with Madhusudhan Mudhiraj were Aditya Mudhiraj, Mukul, Rajam, Abhilash, Sandeep, Vishwanath, Sai Kiran, Praveen Mudhiraj and others. Local BJP leaders Srinivas Mudhiraj, RK Sreenu, Bhanuprakash, Subba Rao, Rajyalakshmi, Ramakrishna, Venkat Kishore and others.
