Devotees who wish to attend the Medaram Jatara can travel through trains, buses and cars and chopper.

Through Trains

First of all, the devotees need to travel by train to Warangal bus station situated in the centre of the district. From there, they can opt for the RTC buses set up by the government, which takes you to the venue directly.

Through Bus

The same thing as followed with the bus, the devotees, need to travel from Hyderabad to Warangal through bus and from there need to take RTC bus set up especially for Medaram Jatara.

Through car

Those who wish to travel by their vehicles are supposed to follow a GPS tracking system and travel all along Bhongiri, Aler, Jangaon, Ghanpur, Warangal, Mulugu Road, Pasara, Eturunagaram and then reach Medaram.

Through Chopper

This time the Government of Telangana launches the chopper services. Here are modes of transportation from places other than Hyderabad

From Karimnagar

The devotees from Karimnagar district can reach the Medaram by bus travelling through Hazurabad, Parakal, Muluga, Pasara and Narlapur. They can also opt for another route from Karimnagar via Periyapalli, Manthani, Kataram, Bhoopalapally and Baikakpet and then into the Medaram.

From Vijayawada

The best way to reach the Jatara for the people of Vijayawada is; first they need to travel through the train from Vijayawada to Warangal, and from there they can take the direct busses while those who wish to go through their vehicles can reach the venue through Nandigama, Khammam, Illandu, Pasara, Narlapur. However, there is another route as well through Khammam, Bhadrachalam, Mangapeta or Vajedu, Venkatapuram of Eturunagaram and Tadvai.

From Chhattisgarh

Likewise, the devotees from Chhattisgarh also take part in this historic festival to seek blessings from the goddess. Let's see how they can travel to the venue. The private vehicle parking has been set up in about ten areas around Jampanna Wagu. From here, you have to walk for about 2 km to reach the Sammakka Saralamma temple.
