Hyderabad: The Toll fares on Rajeev Rahadari between Hyderabad and Ramagundam have been hiked and it will be effective from Sunday midnight i.e, on June 1. According to the authorities, the toll fares are hiked every two years.
For single trip, the toll fare for a car has been hiked to Rs 58 while it is Rs 87 for a one-day pass and Rs 1,740 for a monthly pass.
Coming to the LCV/minibus, the toll fare for a single trip is Rs 117, Rs 175 for a day pass and Rs 3,510 for a monthly pass. For a bus or truck, Rs 233 will be collected for a trip and it is Rs 349 for a day pass and Rs 6,990 for a monthly pass. For MAV trucks, the toll fare for a single trip is Rs 583, Rs 874 for a day pass and Rs 17,490 for a monthly pass.
Meanwhile, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) have increased the toll fares on their respective roads from April 1. Since there was no movement of vehicles, the new rates will come into effect after lockdown. The hikes are applicable on Nehru Outer Ring Road (ORR) which is under HMDA control and on all the National Highways which are under NHAI.
