Domalguda: Telugu Desam Hyderabad district unit held a meeting here at the party office on Wednesday. TDP leaders P Saibaba and Nallela Kishore addressed party cadre at the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, TDP leader Saibaba and Kishore lambasted the TRS government for making income from liquor sale as its main source of revenue. While the state government had been earning Rs 15,000 crore form liquor sales alone, it was now planning to increase its revenues further by selling government lands, which was recently announced by the CM himself in the assembly, Saibaba said. TDP leaders also condemned the hike the registration fees which would shatter dreams of many poor and middle classes families to own a house. Lashing out at the government's claims of allocating Rs 10,000 crore for development of Hyderabad city, Saibaba and TDP leaders alleged that the state government had been neglecting the city for the last five years and was making tall claims in view of forthcoming GHMC elections. While the state government had promised to give 1 lakh double bedroom houses to poor, it had so far given less than 2,000 houses so far, TDP leaders said. Ridiculing TRS party, TDP leaders said that its only achievement was that it burdened the state with massive debts.

Among those who attended the meeting include Balaraj Goud, Ravidrachari, MK Bose, Praveen, P Ashok, Muppidi Madhukar, Komuranna, V Srinivas, Katta Ramulu, Raja Choudhary, Vijayasri, Annapurna, Shanti, Indira, K Kiran, O Venkatesh, Bhanu Prakash, Kareem, Babu, V Balaswamy, Yadagiri and others.
