Patancheru: TTD chairman Y V Subba Reddy on Sunday announced that the devasthanam would pay equal attention to the two Telugu states. He was speaking as the chief guest in the puja programme to mark the first anniversary celebrations of Sri Venkateswara temple at Kollur village in Tellapur municipal limits.

However, he claimed that since Y S Jaganmohan Reddy assumed office as the chief minister, TDP had been showing all attention to the needs of both Telugu states.

The TTD chief pointed out that the lord's devotees were spread across the world. The devasthanam was ready to provide more services to the devotees, as desired by them. He said the TTD would take up several development programmes, along with cultural.

Reddy was accorded a rousing welcome by villagers of Kollur. Councilor Mayuri Raju Goud, YSR Congress party district president and TTD member Sridhar Reddy, chairman Konda Raghava Reddy, and Kollur upa-sarpanch Raju Goud received him. Temple priests accorded 'purnakumbha swagatam' to the chief guest. Reddy offered special puja to the deity.
