Hyderabad: Vendors looting public, citing scarcity at Gaddiannaram

Gaddiannaram: Consumers express worry stating that vendors at Rythu Bazaar are cashing in by selling vegetables at prices higher than that mentioned by the agriculture market committee board.

Mohan Sharma said he had come all the way from Bandlaguda to the market only to buy vegetables. "The prices mentioned on the board and the prices at which the vendors are selling are not matching. They retailers are charging higher. I went to EO's office to lodge complaint, but to my dismay she wasn't present at her office. It seems the officials and the vendors are hand in glove," he added.
