A woman gave birth to quadruplets in a private hospital in Chilkalguda. Though the woman delivered the newborns on April 2, it came to light on Sunday as the babies were shifted to Neo BBC hospital for better treatment.
The woman delivered them at Geetha nursing home in Chilkalguda. Of the four, two are boys and two girl children. The doctors at the Neo BBC gave advanced treatment for the newborns as they were just 1 kg when born. However, the condition of the woman and the newborns is stable.
The doctors said that it is a rare case and added that the quadruplets are born once in every seven lakh births.
