Introduction of one more additional train from Ameerpet to Hitec city
The Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd (HMRL) has introduced an extra trip per hour from Ameerpet to Hitech City.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd (HMRL) has introduced an extra trip per hour from Ameerpet to Hitech City.
With the opening of Ameerpet -Hitec city section, arrangements by software companies for their employees to travel by metro and gradual introduction of more and more shuttle services from Hitec city, Durgamcheruvu, Tarnaka, Mettuguda, Secunderabad East, Uppal, etc., commuter numbers are increasing day by day, especially on Hitec city route.
As of now around 2.75 lakh passengers are travelling during week days & maximum rush is being experienced in Ameerpet -Hitec city section with about 14000 passengers travelling during morning peak hours of 9 to 11am.
To cater to the increasing rush, one more extra train trip per hour is introduced from today from Ameerpet to Hitec city & this has eased the rush. This additional train will now be continued till the reversal facility at Hitec city is completed, after which the frequency of trains will be increased as per requirement.
