Rajanna Sircilla: By visiting the projects to exert pressure on the TRS government for taking up the pending projects and complete them as early as possible, the Congress party has taken up Jala Deeksha programme, informed TPPC working president Ponnam Prabhakar who was put under house arrest by the police here in Rajanna Siricilla district on Saturday.

Even though, the Congress party had applied for project visits before hand, the Telangana government using its police power arrested all the Congress leaders since morning at various places across the erstwhile Karimnagar district undemocratically and illegally, he alleged.

Without completing the constructions works of the 9th package of Kaleshwaram project, how the TRS government completed Kondapochamma and Ranganayaka Sagar project under 10th package. Why the government is showing negligence in completing the Upper Manair reservoir.

IT Minister KTR should explain to the people of Siricilla about failure of the government, he demanded.

Ponnam Prabhakar said that when the Congress party was in power, they started the separate Telangana movement alleging that the Andhra rulers were robbing the people of Telangana of funds, water and jobs.
