Kamareddy: Hotel gutted in fire accident, salon partially damaged

Kamareddy: A hotel gutted and a salon partially damaged in a fire accident in the main bazar at Pitlam mandal headquarters of Kamareddy district in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to the hotel owner, Kummari Thukaram, fire broke out in the salon at around one O' clock after midnight on Monday allegedly due to short circuit and the fire spread to the hotel adjacent to it. No casualties reported and property worth Rs 3.5 lakhs was burnt to ashes.

Upon receiving information, fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
