State steering committee members of JACTO, USPC and DTF staged a dharna at Karimnagar Collectorate on Thursday, demanding the government to solve all the issues pertaining to teachers. Speaking on the occasion, M Raghu Shankar Reddy alleged that after the formation of separate Telangana State, the TRS government has completely neglected teachers and education sector and did not take any steps to solve their issues until today. 'The government did not announce PRC, which should be given to teachers from 2018. Even DAs are also pending. The government is paying monthly salaries very late. It did not give promotions and permission for transfers to teachers working in Model Schools. The government is not filling up several vacant government teacher posts,' he pointed out.

TNGOs district president M Jagadishwar said all teacher and employees unions should come on one platform and must fight united by taking up movement for resolving issues of teachers and employees.

TNGOs State committee leaders K Narayana Reddy, M Ramulu, V Raji Reddy, K Ramesh, T Srinivas, Ram Rajaiah, Satyanarayana and the steering committee members K Ravindra Chary, A Srinivas Reddy, M Parashuramulu, M Kumara Swamy, B Kanakaiah, S Ravi, T Thirupati, J Ramchandra Reddy and M Kumar were present along with others.
