Hyderabad: In a quick response to a selfie video posted on social media by a farmer, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday called the farmer over the phone and assured him that his land related dispute would be resolved instantly. The farmer Sharat from Nandulapally village of Nellella mandal in Mancherial district posted a video on social media in which he stated his family woes in getting the title deed in his father Shankaraiah's name.

He said the local Revenue official registered his family owned agricultural lands in the name of others. He requested the Chief Minister to come to the rescue of his family since the land is the only source of livelihood for them. Taking serious note of it, the Chief Minister spoke to Sharat on the phone and enquired about the status of the land dispute issue. He also applauded the person for posting his grievances on social media to seek government's help.

On the instructions of the Chief Minister, District Collector and revenue officials rushed to Sharat's residence in the remote village and took all the details regarding the pending land ownership. The Revenue officials jumped into action to set the things in the right direction in the distribution of title deeds to farmers.
