KCR calls for Cong, BJP-Mukt Bharat

Hyderabad: Reasoning that he has not just 16 MPs but 130 MPs in his kitty given success of the Federal Front, Chief Minister and TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday gave call for 'Congress-BJP Mukt Bharat'.Launching his party's campaign for the Lok Sabha elections from Karimnagar, Chandrashekar Rao lashed out at so-called national parties Congress and BJP for their policies.
"Some are laughing at me, asking what you will do with 16 MPs... For those 'sannasulu' I have manoeuvred 130 members in the country. I told them what is needed to be done. After assessing the results, if needed I will start a national party. Many had laughed at me when I said I will bring Telangana but I achieved it with your blessings," said Rao.
The TRS chief questioned what the national parties had done for the country and alleged that Congress and BJP had spoiled the country. The country has 70,000 TMC of water and 40 crore acres of land available for irrigation; yet, these parties which ruled for decades did nothing for solving the water crisis. "Congress ruled for over 50 years and BJP for 11 years, but they did not solve the water crisis but shamelessly talk about water wars.
The Brijesh Kumar tribunal for water allocations is yet to resolve the issues even after 15 years. This is because these leaders did not use their intelligence. "When I asked Prime Minister Modi about it, he said already Cauvery water issue is boiling. I told him in a harsh tone this was because of his inability," said Rao.
KCR slammed the BJP for bringing religion into politics. "One party takes the 'Thekedari' of Hindus. Don't we go to temples? We are also staunch Hindus. None does Yagas better than us. Is he the only person to safeguard Hindus? Will there be no temples in the country without you. Rahul Gandhi, whose ancestors were prime ministers and who is aspiring to become Prime Minister is saying every day that 'Chowkidar chor hai' against another PM and on the other hand Modi says mother and son (Sonia and Rahul) were roaming on bail.
Are these two leaders qualified to become Prime Minister?" asked KCR. These two parties do not do what they should do but target state governments and don't give them liberty.KCR said that the Centre gave nothing additionally to the State. Telangana gives about Rs 50,000 crore to the Centre in the form of taxes, but as tax devolution it gets Rs 24,000 crore. Now tell me, who is giving to whom, he asked.
The Centre does not perform its duties and tries to show supremacy over States. "They will not control Pakistan... they will not see defence issues, international issues, will not use waters. The installed power capacity of the country is 3.44 lakh MW, including 2.21 lakh MW in thermal, but India uses 1.80 lakh MW only, which shows the knowledge of the people who ruled for decades.
Hence, the Federal Front with regional parties should come to power for development of the country," said Rao. He pointed out how China had developed during the last few decades.KCR recalled that while all state governments took their issues to the Finance Commission, the Telangana government showed what should be done for the growth of the country. KCR called upon people to elect Vinod stating that he could become a minister at the Centre.
