Tirumala: Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao offered prayers along with his family members at Tirumala temple on Monday morning. KCR entered the temple through Mahadwaram.
TTD Chairman P Sudhakar Yadav, EO Anil Kumar Singal and JEO Srinivas Raju and temple priests welcomed KCR with temple customs.
Later, KCR and his wife offered prayers at sanctum sanctorum of the temple. Vedasirvachanam was rendered to CM KCR at Ranganayakual mandapam by Veda pundits.
TTD EO Anil Kumar Singal presented silk vastram, Lord Venkateswara Swamy portrait and prasadam. KCR made offerings to Srivari Hundi. Later, KCR along with entourage visited the Tiruchanur Ammavari temple at 11 am.
And offered prayers at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple. Here also traditional welcome was accorded to KCR by the temple priests.
From there KCR went to Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy's residence as courtesy call.
MLA Chevireddy introduced his father, wife and sons to KCR. Earlier at Chevireddy's residence YSRCP followers and leaders welcomed KCR in a grand manner by arranging his cutouts and banners.
Along with Thummalagunta Venkateswar Swamy temple priests Chevireddy welcomed KCR by Purnakumaba swagatham.
At Tirupati airport YSRCP MLAs Peddireddy Ramchandra Reddy, Bumana Karunakar Reddy, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and Narayana Swamy, officials MCT Commissioner V Vijaya Rama Raju, Sub Collector Dr Mahesh Kumar and others gave a grand send-off to Chankrashekar Rao.
