KCR pitches for special strategy to contain Covid-19 spread
The Chief Minister says that no one knows how long corona will be in existence
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has instructed the officials to come out with a special strategy that would enable people to live with coronavirus while implementing the measures to contain the virus simultaneously.
The Chief Minister said that no one knows how long corona will be in existence. Hence, despite the presence of corona, a perfect strategy and plan should be made to lead the lives.
At a review meeting here on measures taken to contain the virus and implementation of the lockdown with top officials, he said he has instructed to take fool-proof methods to contain spread of virus.
He wanted the conduct of tests on those who came in contact with corona-positive persons and implement quarantine procedure so that the virus does not spread from person to person.
"While continuing our fight with corona, we have to be ready in other aspects too. Some economic activity should take place", KCR said that there are certain relaxations in the Green and Orange zones.
The officials should study in depth on how to give relaxations in future, what kind of strategy to be implemented in which zone and what measures needs to be taken to revive the economy in the entire state.
