Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's visit to Andhra Pradesh to campaign against TDP chief and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is still undecided. A section of TRS leaders said that K Chandrashekar Rao has no time to go to Andhra Pradesh as his entire schedule for poll campaign and public meetings in Telangana for the next three weeks is finalised. Another section of leaders said KCR is watching AP politics keenly.
He may take out brief time from his busy schedule and attend at least one meeting in Andhra Pradesh a week before election. Leaders said that KCR is preoccupied with preparing election strategy and finalising the candidates to every Lok Sabha segment. He also planned to hold series of meetings with TRS MLAs and sitting MPs in the next two weeks aiming to win 16 out of 17 Lok Sabha seats in the elections.
The TRS chief is eyeing to play a key role at national politics if the collation government is formed at the centre. Sources said that the recent data theft case unearthed by the Telangana police created political sensation in Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister is analysing the fast pace political developments taking place in Andhra post the data theft case.
The possibility of KCR's visit to AP is remote. He is likely to speak on AP politics during the TRS campaign highlighting the Chandrababu's conspiracy to destabilise Telangana politically.
